Paraiso Natural, meaning Natural Paradise, is a joint venture of Liz Mckiver and Richard Barnett from New York City and their Portuguese friends, Miguel and Leli Viseu. 

Their Loureiro grapes are grown in the mountainous region of Ponte de Lima, nestled within one hectare of land in the charming village of Paraiso. 

From day one, their mission has been "to love, protect and sustain the soil, the vines; let the grapes convey themselves authentically; grow, bottle and savor an incomparable wine without any additives or manipulation in either the fields or in the bottle." 

Miguel Viseu, in addition to working as the head winemaker at Aphros, as well as his own project Galactic Wines with his wife Leli, oversees both the viticulture and winemaking processes at Paraiso.
