A fortified and aromatized wine from the Douro Valley, crafted with a focus on organic and sustainable production. The viticulture for the base wine relies on grapes from certified organic vineyards, including a blend of traditional Douro white varieties like Moscatel. This commitment to organic farming ensures the purity of the base wine and the botanicals used in the final product. The production process involves infusing the fortified base wine with a specific blend of botanicals to achieve its dry and autumnal character. These botanicals include a range of herbs and spices, such as wormwood, coriander seeds, savory, and citrus peels from orange and lemon. The name "Autumn" is a direct reference to this unique selection of ingredients. The final product has a pale gold color and a complex aroma of fresh herbs and citrus, with a distinct savory quality. The palate is dry and crisp, with a refreshing bitterness and balanced acidity. Flavors of citrus peel, dried herbs, and a touch of spice are prominent, leading to a clean and persistent finish that makes it a sophisticated and balanced vermouth.

Quevedo

The feeling of optimism and the word of passion are carved into the Quevedo family, who have been grape growers and port producers for 5 generations. Despite trying times, Oscar Sr. found the brand Quevedo in 1993, which started a new era for the family, since they could bottle port under their own label. While this was great news for the family, as the upcoming generation, Claudia and Oscar Jr. had very different career paths in mind. Claudia fell in love with wine since her youth and she wanted to be a winemaker, even though her parents were skeptical about it. After completing her studies at Vila Real she joined Oscar Sr. in 1999 as a winemaker and ensured that the business had a future in the family.
