Prior Lucas

Rui Lucas founded Prior Lucas in Portugal's Bairrada region. The project revives his family's winemaking heritage, which was lost in previous generations. Driven by a passion to preserve the region's unique terroir and winemaking traditions, Lucas meticulously cultivates old vineyards planted on ancient limestone seabeds.

The winery's focus lies in crafting authentic wines that reflect the character of the Bairrada.
