The granitic soils are nurtured using sustainable practices that promote biodiversity within the vineyard ecosystem. Soalheiro Ag.hora Alvarinho 2020 is a testament to this exceptional terroir. Inspired by Georgian winemaking techniques, the grapes are hand-harvested, partially de-stemmed, and foot-trodden. Fermentation occurs with natural yeasts in terracotta vessels, with extended skin contact for three months. After gentle pressing, the wine rests for another four months in terracotta, minus the skins, before bottling.
