Quevedo is a renowned Portuguese wine producer located in the Douro Valley, known for their exceptional Port wines. Their White Port is crafted using a blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties, including Gouveio, Malvasia Fina, Moscatel Galego, Rabigato, Donzelinho, Viosinho, and Códega do Larinho.

The wine exhibits a light straw color and a complex, exotic nose with aromas of pineapple, ripe apples, honey, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, the White Port is fresh and vibrant, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.

Quevedo's White Port is well-structured and full-bodied, with a rich, creamy texture that lingers on the finish. It pairs beautifully with a variety of foods, including dry fruits, hors d'oeuvres, desserts made from tropical fruits, and ice creams. The wine can also be enjoyed on its own or as a refreshing long drink when served with ice, tonic water, and a slice of lemon.

To ensure the best quality, Quevedo recommends storing the bottle upright at a constant temperature and away from direct light. After opening, the wine should be consumed within 4 to 6 weeks and served at a temperature between 10°C and 12°C.

Quevedo

The feeling of optimism and the word of passion are carved into the Quevedo family, who have been grape growers and port producers for 5 generations. Despite trying times, Oscar Sr. found the brand Quevedo in 1993, which started a new era for the family, since they could bottle port under their own label. While this was great news for the family, as the upcoming generation, Claudia and Oscar Jr. had very different career paths in mind. Claudia fell in love with wine since her youth and she wanted to be a winemaker, even though her parents were skeptical about it. After completing her studies at Vila Real she joined Oscar Sr. in 1999 as a winemaker and ensured that the business had a future in the family.
