Quinta das Maias, located in Portugal's Dão region at roughly 600 meters above sea level on the slopes of the Serra da Estrela mountains, produces this organic white wine. The vineyard's name originates from the yellow brooms that bloom there in May, locally called "Maias." This cool, high-altitude terroir contributes to the wine's refreshing character and the sandy granite soils influence its minerality. Made from organic Malvasia Fina and Encruzado grapes, this unoaked white wine boasts fresh and elegant aromas of flowers and plums. Enjoy it chilled, between 7-14°C.
