A red wine from the Dão region, a field blend of traditional local grape varieties (featuring Jaen (also known as Mencía), Touriga Nacional, and Rufete (also known as Tinta Pinheira)). The vineyards, part of Quinta da Boavista in Penalva do Castelo, are situated at an altitude of 500 meters within a granitic valley, with some areas featuring clayey and ancient marine sedimentary soils.

Viticulture at João Tavares de Pina's vineyard is characterized by strict organic practices, with no products used beyond organic compounds.
