A light red wine from the Dão region, composed primarily of Jaen (80%), with smaller contributions from Touriga Nacional (10%) and Rufete (10%). The vineyards of João Tavares de Pina are located in Penalva de Castelo, at an altitude of 500 meters, within a granitic valley surrounded by forests, featuring some clayey soil areas.

The viticulture at João Tavares de Pina emphasizes an agricultural approach without chemical intervention, reflecting a commitment to ecosystem balance. The vineyard actively sows complementary plants to ensure the ecosystem's equilibrium and protect against diseases and pests.
