This distinguished white wine is produced by Quinta do Olival da Murta, located in the Lisbon region of Portugal. The winery emphasizes organic viticulture, adhering to sustainable practices that foster high-quality grape production. The primary grape varietals used are Fernão Pires, which constitutes 60% of the blend, and Arinto, making up the remaining 40%.

The vineyard benefits from a unique microclimate influenced by the Atlantic breeze and the nearby Serra de Montejunto, characterized by morning mists and significant rainfall throughout the year. The soil composition is primarily limestone and clayey loam, which contributes to the wine's distinctive mineral profile.

In terms of production, the winemaking process involves total destemming without crushing, followed by fermentation in a press using spontaneous yeasts. The wine undergoes three days of skin contact and is aged partially in used French oak barrels and partially in stainless steel, allowing for a balance of complexity and freshness. The commitment to minimal intervention is evident, with a minimal addition of sulfur dioxide during production. This careful approach reflects both a respect for the grapes and the terroir, resulting in a wine that captures the essence of its origin.
