Grau Baumé - 2017 Branco - UNDO

Founded in 2008 by Ana Hespanhol and Hugo Mateus, Grau Baumé has carved a niche for itself in the Douro DOC region, producing high-quality, small-scale signature wines. Their philosophy centers on exploring the influence of terroir by sourcing grapes from distinct Douro sub-regions. This allows them to capture the multifaceted personality of the Douro and translate it into diverse wine profiles. As grower-producers, they cultivate some of their own grapes on their 13-hectare vineyard farmed with sustainable dry-farming practices. They also meticulously hand-harvest all their grapes and boast an average annual production of 10,000 bottles.
