This white wine is a blend of 70% Loureiro and 30% Trajadura grapes. Following a unique maceration process, 95% destemmed grapes are combined with 5% whole bunches and macerated for 5 months. The wine is then pressed in a vertical manual press before spending 3 months aging in a combination of chestnut barrels and clay tinajas, resulting in a complex and flavorful profile.

Leli and Miguel Viseu, a husband-and-wife team, are the driving force behind Saravá Wines, a project born from their shared passion for Portuguese wines and a deep commitment to sustainability.

Leli, a Brazilian entrepreneur, and Miguel, a Portuguese winemaker, combined their expertise and love for Portugal to create Saravá Wines. While details about the exact founding date are not readily available, their journey likely began in the early 2010s.

From the outset, sustainability has been a cornerstone of Saravá's philosophy. They believe in working in harmony with nature to produce high-quality wines that respect the environment. Their commitment is evident in several ways:

Organic viticulture: Saravá prioritizes organic farming practices, minimizing chemical pesticides and fertilizers. This not only protects the environment but also promotes biodiversity within the vineyards.
