This unique white Port wine is a blend of four vintages, resulting in a remarkably low alcohol content of 16.5%. Classified as a "Light Dry White Port," it hails from Quinta do Monte Xisto's north-facing vineyards, where grapes receive less sun exposure. This approach yields a refined wine reminiscent of a more traditional, less sweet style of Port. Vinification takes place in a cement vat with extended maceration for over 3 days. After pressing, fermentation is completed with the addition of aguardente (a brandy-like alcohol), and the wine ages in the same vat, fostering a harmonious and characterful profile.
